Beikirch Transfer Policy

First and foremost Beikirch's is a retail gun shop and Wholesale supplier and not a transfer station for internet sales. With that being said New guns that we stock will be treated differently than Used or non-stocking firearms. It will be the customers responsibility to get approval from Beikirch's for the New or Used Transfer and we reserve the right to change the status or send the firearm back if we find its status was misrepresented by the customer or seller of the firearm. Please note the New York State Assault weapon ban is in effect and the burden of proof for any pre 1994 items will fall on the customer, unverifiable items will not be transferred.

Long gun transfers will be completed as follows:

• Contact Beikirch's for transfer approval.
• We will fax or e-mail our Federal Firearms License (FFL) to the shop/seller or individuals can ship with a legible copy of a Driver's License .
• The gun will be shipped with a receipt, serial number, FFL and your phone number so we can contact you. (If we need to chase down this information additional fees may apply at $25.00 per/hr)
• We will complete the federal background check and charge a transfer fee of $25.00 for used guns or $50.00 for new guns.

Pistol transfers will be completed as follows:

• Contact Beikirch's for transfer approval.
• We will fax or e-mail our Federal Firearms License (FFL) to the shop/seller.
• The gun will be shipped with a receipt, serial number, FFL and your phone number so we can contact you. (If we need to chase down this information additional fees may apply at $25.00 per/hr)
• We will complete the federal background check and charge a transfer fee of $35.00 for used guns or $70.00 for new guns.
